Student Internships
We offer semester-long and summer internships for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns work on real projects with measurable community impact—from energy systems design to digital tool development to market research.
Engineering Interns
Support solar microgrid design, system monitoring, and technical troubleshooting. Collaborate with university partners on research projects.
Business & Social Enterprise Interns
Conduct market research, develop financial models, and support cooperative professionalization efforts.
Software Development Interns
Build custom digital tools for cooperatives, from inventory systems to order management platforms.
Impact & Evaluation Interns
Design data collection systems, conduct community assessments, and analyze program outcomes.
Typical Internship:
• Duration: 10-16 weeks
• Location: Remote with option for field visits to Oaxaca
• Compensation: Stipend provided for most positions
• Requirements: Strong academic record, passion for social impact, relevant skills
Full-Time Staff Positions
As we scale our programs, we periodically hire for full-time roles in program management, technical coordination, fundraising, and operations. These positions are based remotely or in Oaxaca, depending on the role.

Volunteer & Pro Bono Support
We welcome skilled volunteers and pro bono professionals who want to contribute their expertise. Opportunities include technical consulting, financial modeling, website development, grant writing, and more.
Volunteer commitments are typically 5-10 hours per month for 3-6 months. This is a great way to contribute if you have limited availability but valuable skills.
Independent Study & Research Credits
Students can earn academic credit by conducting research or project work with Weaving Partnerships. We provide project supervision, field site access, and academic mentorship.
Work with your faculty advisor to design a research project aligned with our programs. We support undergraduate theses, graduate research, and capstone projects.
